Boa Entrada is a small village 2.5 km from Assomada, standing at the bottom of a valley, 400 m above sea level.

At first sight, this village is just an agricultural site with a small number of inhabitants, but looking deeper you will find a 500 year old, 40 metres tall treasure.

This treasure is the Polao / Kapok Tree, a well-known centenary tree original from West Africa. The greenness around you is inspiring and peaceful. In Santiago, Polao is definitely a must visit.
